Monsoon

Believe it or not, this is one of the first paintings I ever made. However, my transition to the brush came after years of making art digitally, and the transition was more seamless than I thought it might be.

This was made by first laying a bucket on top of a blank pane of glass, the spray painting around it, then lifting the bucket back up to reveal the clear pane in the middle.

When viewing this piece in person, the shadows from the tiger dance onto the recessed background of the wall.
